How it works
From inventory to upgrade
-
01
Ingest inventory
Room inventory, rates, rate plans, reservation IDs, and guest names come in through automated reports, or PMS exports can be uploaded manually.
-
02
Run the algorithm
Optimize performs every possible upgrade evaluation and selects the optimal path for the active mode.
-
03
Surface upgrades
Front desk staff receive a clear, prioritized list of recommended upgrades, with the reasoning behind each move. Manual selection is also available.
-
04
Capture revenue
Low-cost rooms freed by upgrades are re-exposed for day-of sale, and built-in recapture analysis tracks the revenue they bring in.
Three upgrade modes
Choose how every upgrade path is decided.
-
Mode 01
Optimized
Prioritizes rooms with the lowest average lead times, then by rate. Best for maximizing day-of sell-through.
-
Mode 02
VIP
Prioritizes guests labeled VIP first, then by rate. Ensures top guests receive the best available upgrade.
-
Mode 03
Guest Focus
Prioritizes by rate first. Ideal for revenue-first properties looking to maximize upgrade revenue per stay.
Plus a Custom Path builder for property-defined priorities and dedicated condo-hotel strategies.
Frequently Asked Questions
What front desks and managers ask about Optimize.
How do I know the data is current?
A banner at the top of the screen shows how old the loaded report is. If it looks stale, run a fresh report or upload a new export before acting on the recommendations.
Who can access Optimize?
Staff sign in with their company Google account and only see the properties they're assigned to. Admins manage property settings such as eligible rates, market codes, and thresholds.
What if plans change after an upgrade is accepted?
Accepted upgrades are saved for the day and stay out of future recommendations. Rerun the analysis after a fresh report to see an updated path for the remaining inventory.
Will a guest get the wrong bed type?
No. King stays king, double queen stays double queen, and single queen guests can move to either.
How does Optimize decide who to upgrade?
It evaluates every possible upgrade across the analysis window and picks the path that frees the rooms most likely to sell day-of. The active mode sets the priority order. The window defaults to 10 days out, or 4 days for condo hotels, and can be adjusted per property.
